Alachua County: public records and data access

What Alachua County publishes about property, where to get each source, and when each was last checked. 4 of 6 sources have a dated check on record; the rest are marked "Not yet verified", which means nobody has confirmed them either way.

Openness score

63 of 100

Openness 63 of 100, from 4 of 6 sources checked.

A source that has not been verified earns nothing until it is, so a low score means open sources are not confirmed yet. It does not mean a county withholds anything. How the score is computed.

Parcel layer (property appraiser data)

Partly published

Checked September 22, 2026

A parcel layer for Alachua County answered on September 22, 2026, but its field names were detected automatically and have not been confirmed.

  • To use it, add the address below as an ArcGIS REST Server connection in QGIS or ArcGIS, or call its query endpoint directly.
  • Field names are listed exactly as the layer spells them; what a field holds (a full date or a year, acres or square feet) is the layer's to define, so read its description before relying on one.
  • It returns parcel boundaries as polygons.
  • The service returns at most 2,000 records per request, so page through larger pulls with an offset.
  • Treat the field names listed below as a starting point and check them against the layer description.

Assessment roll file (download)

Published

Checked September 22, 2026

The Florida Department of Revenue posts the Alachua County assessment roll (owner names and addresses, legal descriptions, land-use codes and values) as a free zipped CSV file. The 2026 preliminary file read on September 22, 2026 held 109,378 parcel rows.

  • Find the county's file inside the portal's NAL folder for the roll year by its FDOR county number, 11: in the final-roll folder (2026F) once the county has posted its final roll, otherwise in the preliminary-roll folder (2026P). File names are typed by hand and vary by county and year, so look for the number rather than the spelling.
Where to get it

Update cadence: Once a year per roll. The preliminary roll is posted around June or July and the final roll in the fall; counties re-upload corrected files for months afterward. (read October 31, 2026).
